Would you like to write? * Would you like to get paid for your writing?

"Gayle Trent is one of the finest and funniest writers
of Southern fiction I have ever read! A true rising star." - Brenda Mott, author of MAN FROM MONTANA
"Quirky characters and a down-home atmosphere make for
a fun and refreshing read." - JB Ivey, Independent Reviewers
"Move over Jessica Fletcher; Myrtle Crumb is here.... I can hardly wait for the next book
in the series." - Joanne Benham, Thunder Book Reviews
"I look forward to reading another Myrtle mystery and getting to know
her friends and family better. She is a delightful character." - Sandi
Myers, Independent Reviewer
WHEN GOOD BRAS GO BAD
Myrtle Crumb, the sassy sixty-something sleuth from BETWEEN A CLUTCH AND A HARD PLACE, is
back. This time she must go undercover in the middle school cafeteria to prove her granddaughter is not a thief. Still, Sunny
knows more than she's telling; and it's starting to affect her relationship with her grandmother. Is Sunny's new friend Alicia
the thief? If so, how far will Sunny go to protect her? Sunny might be fixing to learn a powerful lesson: that betrayal "is
like when a good bra goes bad. First it lets you down, and then that underwire pokes you right in the heart."
"A fast, fun read. Interesting, lovable characters and an intriguing
mystery. You won't want to miss this one!"
- Kat Martin, Bestselling Author of DESERT HEAT

My comedic mystery, BETWEEN
A CLUTCH AND A HARD PLACE, from Grace Abraham Publishing's Dark-N-Stormies imprint, has been nominated for the 2004 APPALACHIAN
BOOK OF THE YEAR!
"Mayberry meets Fried Green Tomatoes with a big dose of fun!"
- Deborah Smith, NYT Bestselling Author of A PLACE
TO CALL HOME
Myrtle Crumb goes
to a consignment shop and comes home with a brand new (or would that be used?)
mystery to solve. Based on the note she finds in a black clutch, she decides to find out what happened to the purse's previous
owner. As she gets closer to learning the truth, she begins to better appreciate the old adage, "What you don't know, can't
hurt you!"
